We ordered the all you can eat chicken and the all you can eat pork the price was fair and on this occasion the food was actually warm and the waitress was attentive; where previously I have been disappointed, on this occasion they were up to par. I would order the all you could eat as opposed to the entree as there is little in price difference.

The new Redneck Eggrolls they have at Sonny's are too die for! They are like deepfried southern pulled pork sandwiches! Omg I want more of them! Friendly service and good prices.

Stopped in just after 8pm and ordered the ayce beef brisket. The brisket was so charred and crispy that I could only eat about half after picking it apart. I then switched up to turkey; same thing. I switched again to sliced pork and finally had something decent, even though it was far from par for Sonny's sliced pork. If I wasn't a Sonny's fan it would have been enough to prevent me from ever going back, but I know Sonny's is usually better than this and does good 7 outta 10 times. At least my sides and sweet tea were on par. :)

I happened to stop here for dinner one night with my inlaws. The food was delicious, and the staff was great. I find that I am a really picky BBQ eater, I love BBQ, but have up until now only found one to my liking. The prices were a little more than I paid in Washington state, but I find that it is worth it, just for the fact that I know it is actually good. I ordered the pulled pork (Mmm) with a side of coleslaw and cornbread. The cornbread was the type that I remember from my favorite BBQ restaraunt back in WA, although Sonny's was a bit overcooked and drier....I still love it. I can't wait to take my husband here!

My family and I decided to head over to Sonnys for lunch yesterday. We asked for a booth, the waitress said she needed to go find one for us because only tables were ready, however - several booths were empty. It was sort of weird because at least a dozen booths were empty. Finally, the waitress came back to us and seated us. We waited quite a while for a menu and our drinks. Finally the waitress took our orders. It didn't take the food long to get to the table, but our waitress only checked on us once. They were not busy and we could see other waitresses doing their jobs. The food was pretty good except my pulled chicken had a large piece of gristle in it, but - hey - that happens sometimes when your eating meat. Still, not that pleasant to bite into. I liked the Sizzling Sweet sauce on my pulled chicken and the garlic toast was really good. I also ordered coleslaw which was also good. The kids drinks were empty a couple times and they waited for the waitress to come for a refill. We had to flag down another waitress for our bill. So basically, food was good - our waitress wasn't, which is sad because service is just as important as the taste of the food when you go to a restaurant to be waited on. Also, FYI - the waitresses do not always deliver a lunch menu, you have to specifically ask for it. Lunch menus offer a much better value then their dinner menus... So, if you decide to eat here - ask for a lunch menu.

Don't eat here the food taste like crap , its the worst BBQ I've ever had! There are better fast food joints that taste better than this place . What I can't believe is the are a chain restaurant I guess in central Floridia they don't know real BBQ ?

This place is a "bang for your buck" kinda place. The all you can't eat option is crazy for $12. Trust me, the BBQ is okay at best...but nothing to rave about. Famous Dave's is a chain that blows this place out of the water.

Normal everyday sonny's. No complaints here. Decent service, clean, good food.

Chain Restaurant. I picked up some ribs and three sides for take-out. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender and had just the right amount of BBQ sauce on them. The coleslaw and macaroni & cheese were generic but the green beans were rather tasty. I called in my order and I was told it would be ready in 10 minutes but I think a walk-in take-out order would be just as fast if not faster.

Had a great experience here at this location of Sonny's. Our waitress was great and so nice. She took our order quickly, was polite and overall a great waitress. She refilled our drinks and also offered it to go. We had pulled pork, both of us- and it was amazing. I like that you can choose your sauce that fits your needs for the sandwich. Their salad bar was impressive too- a lot of selections and very neat and clean. We would totally go back to this Sonny's

It takes something special for "great" and "chain" to go in the same sentence. Well, Sonny's has that something special. Being from WI, it's a rare treat to have excellent BBQ. For three years I've made Sonny's a MUST HAVE while traveling through Florida for work or play. If you stop, I can all but guarantee you'll love it and highly recommend to your friends.

Today I stopped by Sonnys in Palm Bay. I was promptly seated and my drink order taken and receives promptly. I got a pulled pork plate with mac n cheese, potato salad, and garlic toast. The pulled pork here is very good, not the best around but still very good. The mac n cheese is tasty as is the potato salad. The staff is always very friendly and I always enjoy my visits here. Sophie my server today was very nice.

Dry, tough, awful sliced pork. I ate roughly half of it and threw the rest to my dog. She made a face. I didn't know dogs could make faces.

the food is great if you get what you want . if you don't go there for lunch , by dinner the ribs are gone . we went there twice and we were told the ribs the coleslaw and the garlic toast is all gone for the day. management needs to go back to school and lean how to run a restaurant . but the best waitress we had there was Sarah , but she left for a better job .

Food was only meh....service was great and waitress was extremely nice. If I had it over, I would have stopped at Texas Roadhouse or Waffle House down the road.

July 3rd was my last time in and it was not a pleasant visit. My review was not good. I received a response and was told to contact the company office. I did not. I am not looking for a "Free Lunch". I just want to be treated like the employees care. Tonight (July 15, 2015) about 6:05 PM I decided to try Sonnys again. I was seated very quickly. Then another table was seated across from me. Their waitress got their drink order and menu selection almost right away. I waited, mine came over and proceed to take my request. I asked for unsweetened tea (she brought sweened tea with the sugar packets container), order of onion rings as the appetizer, with a steak burger and fries. As I waited the table across from me had their meal, and they were seated after me. As they were just finishing their meal I decided to leave (6:28). As I was leaving my server was bringing out the burger and fries (without the requested onion rings that were supposed to be the appetizer). I told her I was leaving. The reasons, I requested unsweetened tea, you gave me sweet tea. I had to wait longer than other customers that came in after me. Her response was, no I gave you the correct tea. She is going to argue with me? She said my burger took longer to cook, because I wanted it medium-well. I did not ask her where the onion rings were at this moment it did not matter. It appears Sonnys still needs to do some training with their younger inexperienced staff. I will not go in again for at least 6 months. I am retired and usually hit the different restaurants at least 4-5 times a week. I will miss Sonnys.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. My husband and I stopped in here one late afternoon (4:45 or so) and there weren't many people eating due to the weird time. We hadn't eaten all day and were ready to get our grub on. We were seated fairly quickly in a booth and given menus...sticky menus. Gross. There were TONS of flies that kept landing on our table/us...really annoying, but whatever. We were HONGRAY! We decided on beef brisket and were so excited to order but....20 minutes later, no one had even come around to introduce themselves, let alone take our drink orders. So my husband got up and asked the hostess if we'd been forgotten and she snidely said we should hold our horses. We did not. We left....and will probably never return. I understand sometimes in a restaurant things happen that you have to wait. That's fine. But to completely ignore us and then act as if we're the rude ones when all we want to do is buy their food? Nah, dude, I"m out.

For a decent meal at an affordable price, this is the place to go. You can expect nice sized proportions, unlimited drink refills and a very casual atmosphere. The tables are like wooden picnic tables and the seats are literally benches. The servers are personable and friendly. Sometimes it's nice to dine out without any pretense or formality. Here, you can literally eat with your hands (ribs, chicken and burgers) and get sauce all over your face without feeling embarrassed. They also have a salad bar that appeared to be rather comprehensive in its offering. Moreover, they serve beer and I was tempted to order a tall cold one, but it was only noon and I hadn't decided if I was going to go into the office later or not and it wouldn't have been all that professional to drink before hand. I ordered the Super Combo because this was going to be my only 'meal' for the day. It was awesome and came with everything including ribs, chicken, sliced pork and brisket along with beans, slaw and bread. There are a choice of BBQ sauces at the table ranging from very hot to sweet. The entire meal was very well prepared and full of flavor. It's not the absolute best BBQ in the south, I admit, as I am a southern boy. However, it's most definitely not bad. If you're looking for a good BBQ meal for the family, this is the place. My meal only cost $13 and change. (I ordered off the dinner menu). They have lunchs for around $8 or $9. Our server offered to give us a full to-go cup for our ice teas which I thought was very generous. This place is frequented by many 'locals' because the servers seemed to know some of the other patrons. I like knowing that I'm eating at a place that's also good enough for 'the locals'. I will most definitely come back here.
